We are looking for a passionate and engaging Percussion & Singing Teacher to join our team at the Neurodiverse Playhouse. This is a part-time position (3 hours per week to start), with the view to increase hours as our programs expand.

About the Role

  • Teach percussion and singing to children in a supportive, inclusive, and play-based environment.
  • Work with individuals and small groups to foster creativity, rhythm, confidence, and self-expression.
  • Adapt lessons to suit neurodivergent learners, making music fun and accessible for everyone.
  • Collaborate with our team to create a safe and encouraging space for children to explore music.

About You

  • B. Ed and current registration
  • Background in music education, performance, or tutoring (percussion and voice).
  • Experience or interest in working with neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, sensory profiles, etc.).
  • Patient, creative, and able to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage children in a fun, positive way.
