JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Performance Analyst you :

  • are proficient in a wide range of tools and ensure that the team is equipped with the required skills according to the strategy set out by the Lead Performance Analyst
  • are skilled and experienced at carrying out the day-to-day activities of a performance analyst, including visualising and communicating insight, while also carrying out increasingly complex analysis working with other teams where necessary
  • are actively contribute to the performance analysis community within their department or organisation, while forging links with other analytical disciplines and up-skill others in analysis where possible and appropriate
  • have experience of working on GA4 data layer implementations from start to finish, including planning, designing schema, deployment, and ongoing optimisation.Good working understanding of GA4’s architecture, event tracking, and custom dimensions/metrics
  • have good technical skills in Google Tag Manager (GTM) and SQL, enabling you to implement and troubleshoot GA4 tagging, and an awareness of JavaScript, HTML
  • have experience feeding into data architecture plans that ensures accurate and reliable data collection. Experience in setting up and maintaining data validation processes specific to GA4, with the ability to contribute to data processing pipelines that create clean, and useful analytics outputs

Responsibilities

The standard selection process for roles at GDS consists of:
