POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a commercially astute FP&A Analyst to join the team in our Head office. Reporting to the FP&A Manager and partnering with the Commercial team and the broader organisation, this a very “hands-on” role.
The role is responsible for leveraging IBM Planning Analytics to facilitate financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes within the organization.
With the acceleration of AI and how this can be used for analysis and insight generation, skills in this area would be a valued attribute.
This role interacts with other stakeholders including Centre Managers, Portfolio Managers, General Managers, Leadership team and the CFO.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOURS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)\Planning Analytics Workspace with a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in TM1 development, administration, and support.
  • Proficient in TM1 architecture, including cube design, turbo integrator, and rules.
  • Experience in data integration, ETL processes, and intermediate SQL database management.
  • Interest in the application of AI to data and insight generation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes and concepts.
  • Experience with other financial planning and analysis tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan) is a plus. Practical working knowledge of Python\TM1py preferred.
