* Actively collaborate with the business, the Protect Me and My Business Tribe, the Workers Compensation claims business and partners to support data driven insights and solutions * Multiple locations / hybrid wfh * Permanent role Reporting to the National Performance & Delivery Manager, the Performance & Delivery Initiative Lead is responsible for driving end-to-end delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across the Workers Compensation portfolio, while uplifting performance outcomes through continuous improvement, data-driven insights, and cross-tribe collaboration. This role bridges strategy, performance, and delivery, ensuring that business priorities, transformation initiatives and customer outcomes are aligned and executed effectively across tribes and squads. The Performance & Delivery Initiative Lead is responsible for driving the successful delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across the Workers Compensation portfolio while uplifting performance outcomes through continuous improvement and data-driven insight. The role ensures that business strategy is effectively translated into execution, leading cross-tribe delivery and enabling consistent excellence in claims, injury management and return to work outcomes. This is achieved through strong stakeholder alignment, disciplined delivery practices and a focus on customer and business performance. This includes coordinating the flow of work within the squad and working with the Senior Product Owner, peers, stakeholders, and SMEs to ensure successful delivery. What you’ll do: * Support the Product Owner to translate the product roadmap into a Program of Work that will deliver on our mission outcomes and achieve our MKR’s/OKR’s * Responsible for maintaining a single view of Squad scope and delivery progress which should incorporate other LoB-specific change impacts on an as-needs basis  * Maintain awareness of in-Squad dependencies, exploration of down-stream impacts associated with timeline or scope changes – particularly where benefit realisation will be impacted  * Demonstrate a ‘customer obsession’ by proactively understanding of our customers’ needs and current pain points to always improve our claims customer experience  * Accountable for maintaining squad governance frameworks and artefacts and adherence to momentum Guardrails / project requirements, including legislative compliance in all deliveries.    What you’ll bring: * Minimum 7 years appropriate industry experience in general insurance (mandatory) * 3 years’ experience in the assigned Tribe Squad aligned Business area (Eg. management of workers compensation - required  * Knowledge of legislative and regulatory compliance requirements in multiple Australian States &/or Statutory Schemes - highly desired  * Proven experience in driving continuous improvement, innovation or change initiatives, working in collaboration with others to achieve outcomes  * Experience representing business stakeholders in agile system development / enhancements translating product objectives into technology and process requirements.   Employee benefits | Suncorp Group [https://www.suncorpgroup.com.au/careers/benefits] At Suncorp we believe we are our best when our workforce is as diverse, talented and passionate as the communities in which we live and operate, and where our people feel included, valued and connected.
