Engineer - Performance Job Purpose Monitor, analyze and control Geocycle performance and the progress of the production plans. Optimize the performance and provide each department with the recommendations for the areas of improvement to sustain the smooth operation with the optimized cost and prepare & follow up the implementation of the production plans. Plan for the AF, ARM, IW, and Platform products and rolling forecasting. SAP production single point of contact. Reporting (production, consumption and Geocycle KPIs) . Key Responsibilities 1-Health & Safety: Adhere to and enforce relevant legislation and policies and ensure that the highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained. Ensure Compliance to all relevant safety policies, procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance and delivery of high-quality service. 2-Functional: Conduct statistical analysis of Geocycle performance indicators to highlight areas of improvement and propose improvement plans to ensure that the performance is up to the standards. Facilitate the budgeting cycle between Geocycle & Plant & finance and review continuously the progress of the production plans to provide technical support whenever needed. Oversee, coordinate and control the physical count to highlight and justify the variance between the booked material volumes and the physical storage and implement the variance in both the manual reports and SAP. Formulate all the required technical reports, prepare & coordinate the collective monthly performance report. Conducting the MEC activities of the production and optimization departments (creation, confirmation and technical closing for the production process orders), in which all production, consumptions and technical KPIs are posted at SAP. Supporting the production process at SAP for production execution and planning modules and escalating issues and incidents to the SAP off-shore team (SPOC for production modules) Balancing for the production and raw material delivery at SAP and manual reports and escalating issues for the concerned team to fix. Conducting the production planning at the SAP planning tool and executing both the validation and balancing for the monthly forecasting. Uploading the budget at the planning tool and updating and developing the recipes, capacities, fuel mix optimization and planned shutdowns at SAP. AF materials inventory management and review on a daily basis and communicating with stakeholders in case of material shortage or exceeding the planned delivery to control the net working capital on a monthly basis. Solid and liquid AF fuel planning, management and control with LHES and procurement team to control the stocks of HFO/Furnace oil and pet-coke, control the networking capitals and secure the kilns operation. Executing 18 months Planning and rolling forecast for cement, clinker, semi-finished products and inbound materials on monthly basis in spreadsheets at G-drive and shared with all stakeholders. Supporting the S&OP process as team member in the committee and controlling the clinker stock movement. TIS data validation and correction if necessary and configuring the reports to track the plant performance. Education Qualifications & Experience Education: B.Sc. in Engineering. Technical Skills: Presentation, communication and analytical skills Project management demonstration skills Good team building skills Excellent planning skills Strong computer literacy with various software programs Effective follow up skill. Experience: At least 1:3 years’ experience in cement manufacturing. Cement and clinker operation experience.
