Come & join us on the road to success. #LI-Hybrid Job Description Responsibilities: Project Definition & Strategic Planning Define project targets and objectives in close collaboration with the restraint system team Establish technical requirements and performance benchmarks for airbag control systems Cross-Functional Team Coordination & Leadership Facilitate effective communication between internal engineering teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless integration of airbag control unit functions Design Validation & Technical Review Actively participate in design reviews for different vehicle areas and components affecting restraint system performance Validate design proposals to ensure compatibility with airbag system requirements and regulatory standards Define, validate, and optimize sensor specifications and positioning throughout the vehicle architecture Simulation & Analysis Analyze Finite Element Method (FEM) simulations to predict crash performance and system behavior Crash Testing & Validation Define comprehensive crash test requirements in accordance with regulatory standards and internal protocols Supervise crash test sensing activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations Algorithm Development & Calibration Calibrate Airbag Control Unit (ACU) algorithms to optimize deployment timing and performance across various crash scenarios Validate ACU algorithms through simulation, bench testing, and full-vehicle crash test Validate central airbag functions including crash detection, firing logic, and diagnostic capabilities Qualifications Profile: Communication & Interpersonal Skills Excellent communication skills with ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly Strong relationship-building capabilities across different departments, hierarchical levels, and organizational boundaries Confident and assertive in technical discussions and negotiations with stakeholders at all levels High level of empathy and emotional intelligence when working with diverse teams Open to work in a very international company with a multicultural team.
