Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Performance Management Strategy Consultant to lead a systemic approach to measure, monitor, and improve operational performance within Unsecured Lending Operations (ULO). This work will directly influence operational excellence, customer and employee experience, and risk outcomes. The role will help establish a strategy and connect individual, team, and enterprise-level goals, using data and insights to inform leadership decisions and frontline execution.
Join our ULO Operational Strategy team as we build and execute a performance management strategy that drives excellence across Customer Service, Collections, Servicing, and Underwriting business functions. This role will help shape the framework, measurements, and improve team performance though data, technology, and operational alignment. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, front-line teams, and consultants focused on business management, coaching standards, and execution to serve as a key force behind strategic performance insights, strategy, and execution.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive operational excellence and performance outcomes.
  • Constantly influence and guide change at all levels of the organization.
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
  • Evaluate performance strategies and outcomes across ULO operations, while building frameworks for continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group’s functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
  • Collaborate and consult with members of all teams across ULO Ops teams; initial priority focusing within Production Ops including business leaders, process owners, and support teams to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy, Administrative, and Execution employees within the ULO organization.
