Description

Brinsworth and Whiston medical Centre are currently looking for an motivated Performance Manager to join our friendly team. This is a part-time role, working up to 30 hours per week over four days.
Your work will help make sure the practice meets important quality targets and NHS standards.
You’ll work closely with doctors, nurses, practice manager, and other team members to develop systems that support the needs of a busy, modern GP practice.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting claims (such as PPA, CQRS, PCN activities, and Local Enhanced Services) on time.
  • Support planning and tracking of QOF (Quality Outcomes Framework) and other NHS targets.
  • Work with the Reception Manager to help manage clinical IT systems and sort out any basic computer issues.
  • Team up with the nursing staff to monitor how well the practice is doing against key performance goals.
  • Help manage systems that remind patients about check-ups, vaccinations, and reviews.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Monthly updates with the Practice Manager about how the practice is performing i.e. complaints - QOF performance - seasonal campaigns
  • Adding rotas for clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Help manage complaints and reviews of any incidents or concerns.
  • Contribute to practice policies and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Be willing to work across multiple practice sites.
