We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced marketing professional with paid marketing experience to lead the marketing and growth initiatives for Cactus Communications in Korea. This is a critical role responsible for driving new client acquisition, brand awareness and growth for our products and services portfolio within the Korean retail market. The Paid Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing paid marketing campaigns across various channels, including Google, Naver, Kakao, Bing, Meta etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance marketing and analytics, with experience using GA4, and a keen appetite for experimentation, utilizing tools like VWO and Hotjar to analyse and refine marketing strategies. Responsibilities Plan, execute, and optimize paid marketing campaigns across Google, Naver, Kakao, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn and third-party networks. Develop and implement full funnel marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads. Conduct A/B testing and other experimental methodologies to optimize campaigns using tools like VWO and Hotjar. Analyse data to derive insights and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign effectiveness. Utilize analytics platforms such as GA4 to track, measure, and report on campaign performance. Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Products, Creative Studio, Business Intelligence, etc.) to execute on the business goals. Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and improve existing strategies. Qualifications and Prerequisites Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in paid marketing in the consumer space, with a minimum of 3-4 years managing Google and Naver Ads. Proven experience in planning and executing campaigns across Google, Naver, Kakao, Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, and third-party networks, with strong analytical skills using GA4 or similar analytics platforms. The candidate must also have strong reporting and dashboarding skills using tools like Excel. Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation tools such as VWO and Hotjar, combined with a deep understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, along with a creative mindset and passion for marketing innovation and experimentation. Excellent communication (both written and spoken English) and interpersonal skills. Experience working in academia or in niche domains, with the ability to tailor marketing strategies to specialized audiences. Knowledge of SEO principles. Familiarity with marketing automation tools.
