EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong expertise in Paid Media (PPC, OOH, CTV, Paid Social, Display, App), Affiliate Marketing, and Influencer Marketing.
  • 10+ years of experience managing and leading acquisition marketing teams, with a strong focus on LTV:CaC ratio optimisation.
  • B2C eCommerce background preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-million-pound budgets with a data-driven approach.
  • Experience in driving traffic to international/non-UK eCommerce sites.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, demonstrating strong stakeholder management and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to demonstrate the importance of creative effectiveness
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the business.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Highly action-oriented, thriving in fast-paced, high-volume work environments.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Marketing Acquisitions Director will take ownership of all global paid media, affiliate marketing, and performance influencer marketing activities for Myprotein. Managing a large budget and leading a substantial international team of 30+, we are looking for an experienced and talented demand generation specialist with exceptional leadership and people management skills.
This individual will be responsible for setting and executing the acquisition strategy across Paid Media (PPC, OOH, CTV, Paid Social, Display, App), Affiliate Marketing, and Influencer Marketing. The successful candidate will have an advanced analytical mindset, a deep understanding of the power of creative, proven track record of delivering new & existing customer metrics, and the ability to drive business growth through data-led marketing strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement short- and long-term acquisition strategies aligned with business KPIs.
  • Work closely with brand teams to deliver our positioning
  • Oversee and manage large-scale budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximise ROI.
  • Drive performance management – leading reporting and analysis requirements across all acquisition channels, providing valuable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Oversee and optimise paid media strategies, including PPC, paid social, display, and app marketing, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage the affiliate marketing programme, identifying new partnership opportunities and optimising existing relationships to drive customer acquisition.
  • Lead influencer marketing strategy, working closely with internal and external partners to drive brand awareness and conversions.
  • Collaborate with internal Data Analysis and Data Science teams to understand customer segments and create targeted acquisition strategies.
  • Evolve our measurement framework further beyond MMM & MTA
  • Work closely with marketing insights to define audience strategies and collaborate with creative teams to produce high-performing assets.
  • Continuously test and iterate new acquisition channels, methods, and tactics to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Align acquisition campaigns with the broader Myprotein campaign calendar, ensuring synergy between brand and performance marketing efforts.
  • Identify and capitalise on new opportunities across all acquisition channels to drive both volume and efficiency.
  • Be an ambassador for the important of brand building, as part of long term sustainable growth
  • Steer our paid asset creative evolution, with a platform focused manner to resonate with relevant audiences
