About the role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and data-driven Performance Marketing Manager to manage in tandem with our digital agency our paid media activity, including Paid Search, Paid Social Media and Retargeting activity.
This role is critical in driving online visibility, generating quality traffic, and improving conversion rates across all digital platforms. You will manage a budget of c.£2m, finding the most efficient and effective ways to reach new audiences, and grow the number of people fundraising for good causes on JustGiving.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategy: Own our multi-channel paid media strategy, including paid search, paid social and retargeting activity. Develop, coordinate and manage our ‘through the funnel’ paid media activity (together with our agency) to drive awareness and consideration of JustGiving, and grow conversions
  • Agency management: Lead and manage our digital media agency
  • Campaign and channel optimisation: Oversee bidding, budgeting, and other optimisations to drive results across paid platforms.
  • CRO: Perform A/B testing on ad creatives, landing pages, and bid strategies to optimise ad performance.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on performance metrics and use data-driven recommendations to enhance strategy. Develop in collaboration with the agency custom dashboards and reports to visualise campaign performance and business impact.
  • Strategic Insight & Performance Analysis: Provide expert insights and suggestions to boost campaign effectiveness and optimise spend.
  • Budget management: Advise on and allocate digital marketing budgets, constantly analysing spend and recommending changes as necessary to ensure optimisation, KPI performance and revenue targets. Collaborate with the agency on managing the campaign budget.
  • Advanced Retargeting: Create and manage lookalike audiences to reach high-potential segments.
  • Martech: Undertake data and technological improvements that improve overall paid performance. Work with our product + engineering team to manage tracking tags across all Paid Media platforms (Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, etc.).

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years’ experience within a performance marketing role
  • Track record of paid spend optimisation across different categories and channels with large budgets
  • Hands-on experience working with agencies and getting the most out of them
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrable hands-on experience with the following: Google Package, META, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and VOD
  • Experience managing paid digital strategy and operations as part of a wider marketing strategy
  • Highly proficient using analytics tools, such as Heap or Google Analytics, with a strong understanding of Google Tag Manager and SA360
  • Strong background in a B2C business or charity
