Description

Position Overview
Mathmos, inventors of the lava lamp, are seeking a highly skilled and experienced paid media specialist to work with our in house creative and development team to grow our International D2C eCommerce. You will be based in the lava lamp factory in Poole and work across most advertising platforms, including Google, Amazon, Meta, Pinterest and TikTok. This position is an excellent opportunity for a performance marketing specialist with SEO to work in a broader, more varied role in a small but well-known local company. It would suit a team player who enjoys working alongside others, reliable and flexible and would enjoy making a significant contribution to the company’s success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative PPC strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximise ROI across Google, Amazon, Meta and other social media platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and market trends to inform PPC campaign strategies.
  • Oversee budget allocation, bid management, and ad creative testing to achieve performance goals.
  • Collaborate with our in-house content creators, designers, and developers to ensure cohesive and effective campaigns.
  • Utilise analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager to provide regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement in all aspects of our eCommerce operations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor and analyse eCommerce performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Use other e-commerce skills to grow Mathmos’ International e-commerce business.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience of at least two years developing and implementing successful PPC campaigns in an agency or eCommerce environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of PPC platforms, including Google Ads and Amazon.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience with A/B testing, landing page optimisation, and conversion rate optimisation.
  • Have good knowledge and experience of SEO practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to enable you to work with our small team.
  • Ability to keep up with the latest trends and best practices in eCommerce, digital marketing, and PPC.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
