What you’ll be working on You’ll lead performance and non-functional testing across critical trading platforms, ensuring they remain scalable, resilient, and responsive. Your work will include: Designing and executing performance, load, stress, and scalability tests using k6 Building and maintaining reusable performance testing frameworks and scripts Analysing results to identify bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers Partnering with developers to diagnose issues and validate performance improvements Testing cloud-native systems deployed in AWS Integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines Defining and monitoring performance KPIs and non-functional requirements Producing clear, actionable performance reports to support decision-making Supporting capacity planning and continuous performance improvement What will help you be successful? You enjoy digging into complex systems and translating metrics into clear insights. You’re confident challenging assumptions, comfortable collaborating across teams, and motivated by improving outcomes. You’ll bring: Strong experience in performance and non-functional testing Hands-on experience using k6 and JavaScript-based test scripting Experience testing C#/.NET applications and APIs Solid understanding of AWS and distributed system architectures Confidence analysing performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and error rates Experience working in Agile environments with CI/CD pipelines Experience with containerised environments, monitoring tools, or high-throughput systems will be highly regarded.
