JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead with a strong background in designing, implementing, and executing performance testing strategies across enterprise applications, including SAP systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 12+ years of performance testing experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in Neoload, HP LoadRunner, JMeter.
  • Strong understanding of web protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, WSDL, SOAP/REST services).
  • Experience with performance test environment setup, administration, and configuration.
  • Proficiency with test management tools (qTest Manager, HP ALM, Jira, Solman Test Suite).
  • Skilled in Microsoft Project, Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
    Job Type: Contract
    Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Lead performance testing efforts using Neoload, HP LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar tools.
  • Define and document performance SLAs, requirements, and KPIs (e.g., response time, throughput, concurrency, CPU/memory utilization).
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, network, environment, and release teams to establish effective performance test environments.
  • Design and implement performance testing frameworks leveraging Neoload/open-source technologies.
  • Model performance scenarios, conduct load/stress testing, and identify system/resource bottlenecks.
  • Manage test data setup for complex workloads and large simulated datasets (SAP preferred).
  • Analyze results, prepare benchmarks, and provide recommendations for tuning and optimization.
  • Research and recommend improvements in performance testing practices, tools, and system configurations.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements (NFRs) are met within delivery cycles.
  • Provide limited functional testing support using qTest.
  • Work effectively in Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid environments.
