Description

Domain: Banking Skills: LoadRunner, JMeter (Mandatory); Tosca, Selenium (Optional) Programming: VB Script, Java, C About the Role We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in LoadRunner and JMeter, with additional exposure to automation or functional testing tools being a plus. Experience in the banking domain is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner and JMeter. Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations. Work closely with business analysts, development teams, and architects to gather performance requirements and KPIs. Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support continuous integration and continuous testing initiatives. Develop performance test scenarios, workload models, and test plans based on application requirements. Prepare and present detailed performance test reports and insights to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and methodologies throughout the project life cycle. Support estimation, forecasting, sprint planning, delivery execution, and timeline creation for performance testing activities. Troubleshoot issues independently and work with engineering teams to drive resolutions. Required Skills Mandatory Tools: LoadRunner JMeter Optional Tools: Tosca Selenium Strong experience in VB Script, Java, and C programming to support test scripting or custom enhancements. solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and performance testing frameworks. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including code reviews, versioning, and CI/CD integration. Preferred Experience Experience working on banking or financial services applications, especially high-volume transaction systems. Knowledge of backend components such as APIs, microservices, messaging queues, and databases. Familiarity with server monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, etc.). Behavioral Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and presentation abilities. Collaborative team player with an ability to work in fast-paced environments.
