Location: Ark Soane Academy, Acton (W3)
Hours: Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £30–32 per hour
Lyric Dance School is one of London’s leading Ballet and Performing Arts schools, with branches in Ealing/Acton, Wood Green, Stratford, Newham, and Kingston upon Thames. We specialise in teaching children aged 2–12 years, providing a nurturing and creative environment where they can shine.
We are currently seeking a versatile and enthusiastic Performing Arts Teacher who can also deliver Baby Ballet classes at our Ark Soane Academy branch in Acton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and engaging teacher who loves working with young children and enjoys teaching across different disciplines.

About the role:

  • Teach Performing Arts (singing, drama, dance) to children aged 3–12
  • Teach Baby Ballet classes (syllabus provided – full guidance given)
  • Saturday mornings, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Potential for future classes/hours as the school expands

What we’re looking for:
- At least 2 years’ teaching experience with children in performing arts and/or ballet
- Confidence teaching a range of ages, from toddlers to primary school children
- A valid, cleared DBS check
- Ability to commit to a full school term
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience preparing children for stage shows and/or exams
- First Aid certificate
- Strong class management and a fun, engaging teaching style
