The curtain is rising on an exciting opportunity at our vibrant FE College, where we’re seeking a charismatice, visionary and passionate Performing Arts Lecturer to join our team on a fixed term contract.
Our performing arts team is no stranger to standing ovations, our students shine both in the studio and on the stage, with immersive events across the Island and sho-stopping at Mardi Gras. Now we’re looking for a new cast member who can bring energy, creativity and direction to our students.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Performing Arts Lecturer, you will take a leading role in shaping and delivering a diverse and exciting curriculum across subjects such as contemporary dance, singing, and acting. Working across multiple levels, you will inspire students to reach their full potential through your engaging teaching style and commitment to creating a supportive, inclusive learning environment. You will also take responsibility for leading and coordinating the programmes under your care.
Your creative approach to teaching and learning will shine through your ability to motivate and energise students. You’ll adapt your delivery to reflect the varied backgrounds, experiences, and aspirations of our learners—whether they’re aiming for the stage, screen, or further academic study.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons across a range of Performing Arts disciplines, ensuring a high-quality and inclusive learning experience for all students.
  • Assess student progress through both written and verbal feedback, maintaining accurate records to support development and achievement.
  • Provide academic support through one-to-one tutorials, helping students navigate challenges and reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to build and sustain strong, productive relationships that enhance the student experience and curriculum delivery.
