Position Overview Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel Perfusionist for a 13-week assignment in Greenville, South Carolina. This opportunity is built for a highly skilled perfusionist with advanced cardiac experience who is confident working in fast-paced, emergent surgical settings across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. This role requires strong ECMO expertise, including the ability to independently assist with ECMO cannulation and support ECMO transport. The ideal candidate will have recent travel experience, strong CVOR background, and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma environment. Compensation Gross: $5,846/week | W2: $115/hr | Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246/week • Housing Stipend: $770/week • Meals & Incidentals: $476/week • Overtime: $172.50/hr • On-Call: $5/hr • Charge: $3/hr • Holiday: 1.35x Available Positions • 1 Opening • 13 Week Assignment • Start Date: 04/13/2026 • Schedule: Day 4x10 Hour Shifts • Shift Time: 06:30 - 16:30 • Call Required • Call averages 1 day per week and 2 weekends per contract Key Responsibilities • Operate and manage cardiopulmonary bypass during cardiac surgical procedures • Independently assist with ECMO cannulation in adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients • Support ECMO transport for patients requiring cardiopulmonary support • Provide perfusion support in CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, and Pediatric General OR settings • Manage complex cardiac and emergent trauma cases in a fast-paced operative environment • Support procedures including CABG, TAVR, valve replacement, ASD/VSD repair, PDA ligation, MAZE procedure, and pericardial window • Utilize advanced perfusion equipment and monitoring systems during surgical cases • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience required • Travel experience required • No first-time travelers • Clinical Perfusionist (ABCP) certification required • BLS and ACLS required • Minimum 1 year of Epic experience required • Teaching hospital experience required • Community hospital experience required • Trauma Level I experience required Why Join This Team • High-acuity perfusion assignment with advanced cardiac case exposure • Opportunity to work in a complex surgical environment supporting adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients • Strong weekly pay package with tax-free stipend eligibility • Exposure to ECMO, trauma, CVOR, pediatric cardiac, and emergent cardiac support cases • Assignment built for experienced perfusionists seeking a high-level travel opportunity Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study • Clinical Perfusionist ABCP certification • Active BLS certification • Active ACLS certification • Minimum 5 years of perfusion experience • Ability to independently assist with ECMO cannulation • ECMO transport experience is required • Experience in CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, Pediatric General OR, and Level 1 Trauma settings • Experience with Epic charting • Experience with Spectrum Pump, Terumo System 1, Quest MPS 2/3 Cardioplegia, I-STAT, Centrimag, Impella 5.5, Bellmont Hyperthermia Kit, CardioHelp, Angiovac, and CardioQuip HC • Ability to work call requirements for the assignment Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
