$10,000 Sign On Bonus PT Day 730a-4p, rotate shift: 1030a-7p 3x/month, full benefits! This position exists in the perinatal specialty units and works under the direction of the Maternal Fetal Medicine staff and or manager or supervisor. Must demonstrate competencies in a variety of OB procedures, performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM guidelines and protocols. The incumbent is responsible for the care of patients, accurate record keeping, care of equipment and other duties as assigned. This position requires RDMS registry in OB and must meet the minimum continuing education requirements of the registry and AIUM as appropriate. Job Requirements: Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)RDMS OB/GYN Cervical length and Nuchal certification required within one year of employment Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates knowledge of equipment and ultrasound protocols. Produces high quality images for intrepretation. Competently Performs when assisting with invasive procedures. Completes studies accurately in a timely manner. Exhibits positive attitude when communicating with physicians, patients and staff. Accepts constructive criticism and strives for improvement. Shows flexibility. Maintains all necessary certifications and demonstrates continued competence once certified. Acts as a resource in the perinatal units for other sonographers, students and residents. Assists in the education with the above.
