Job Description: In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as the Perioperative Floor Coordinator (PM Shifts) in our Perioperative department at the East Melbourne campus. This is a Fixed Term, Part Time role starting from the 25th May 2026 until the 4th April 2027. You will be working 22.5 hours per week, consisting of 3 evening shifts and in that time will be responsible for the overall coordination of our Perioperative department inclusive of 11 operating theatres and recovery. This role reports directly to the Perioperative Services Manager, and you will work collaboratively with the Leadership Team to ensure a high level of service to our Patients, Team and VMP. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Operating Theatre. Previous experience at an ANUM or NUM level. Perioperative course and/or Health Administration or Management qualifications or working towards. Experience coordinating in the Operating Suite. Your skills will include but not limited to: The ability to respond to constant changes within the Operating Suite on a daily basis. The ability to foster good communication and a Team approach that is inclusive of all Team members and Visiting Medical Professionals. Manage allocations and staffing within identified labour targets. Develop and foster flexibility from staff in order to meet the demands of the department.
