1. Education: Current RN licensure for the state of AR. 2. Training and Experience: OR experience preferred, CPR certified. Other recommended certifications: ACLS & CNOR. 3. Job Knowledge: Presents a professional appearance & exemplifies hospital standards of honesty and ethical behavior. Accurate assessment skills combined with the ability to quickly plan needed actions and implement those actions. Good communications skills required with peers, patients, physicians and hospital management. Must demonstrate willingness to be a team player. 4. Participates in OR call schedule as needed. Ability to work irregular hours. Physical Effort: Standing for long periods of time, lifting 30 lbs., bending and moving of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for completing nursing assessments to identify patient needs, supervising and directing patient care and personnel, and assisting anesthesia as required. They must ensure proper techniques and standards of care are maintained while participating in the OR call schedule as needed.
