Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a Perioperative Support OR Aide to join the team! This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday, Every Other Weekend, 6:30am – 3:00pm. Perioperative Support Specialist Job Responsibilities: * Maintains overall environment (e.g. empties trash, cleans spills, removes soiled linens) on a continuous basis. * Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy. * Performs daily re-stocking of designated supply areas including linen, fluid warmers. etc. * Delivers specimens, blood products, etc. * Obtains additional supplies and equipment for the nursing staff as needed. * Safely transfers patients to and from in the Operating Room. * Additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: * Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent. * Years of Experience: No experience required * Certification: Basic Life Support via AHA within 3 months We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider. Responsibilities

Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the operating room environment, including waste removal and restocking supplies. Assists nursing staff by delivering specimens and safely transferring patients within the perioperative area.
