We are currently seeking a Peripatetic Regional Senior Care Assistant to join our Company.
As Regional Peripatetic Senior Carer with Leicester County Care homes, you’ll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. You will travel to different homes in the region to provide hands-on leadership and support.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Medication knowledge/administration
• First Aid
• Good numeric and literacy skills
• Caring attitude
• Good communication skills
• A strong team worker
• Supportive and patient
• Reliable and punctual
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

• Medication Administration and Medical assistance/standards
• Allocation of staff and Home Management support
• Training the junior staff and Senior Carer’s according to their ability, qualification and appraise performance
• Documentation; Care Plans, Supervisions and Personal Checklists
• Assisting with moving and handling residents
• Maintaining Health & Safety standard & Fire Procedures
• To deal with agencies for full bed occupancy
• General supervision of residents during mealtimes; assisting residents with meals as necessary
• Support with Admissions, Discharges & Transfers
