Perisher - Junior Snowsports Instructor (Locals Program 2026) Locations: Perisher Employment Type: Casual, Winter Seasonal Season Commencement: Mid to Late–June 2026 Applications Period: February - April 2026 (or earlier if filled). Application Stage: We are currently accepting applications. What You'll Be Doing If you’re a local resident aged 16–17 and curious about joining our Snowsports team, we’d love to hear from you! As a Junior Snowsports Instructor, you’ll work toward your APSI Level 1 certification throughout the season while supporting children’s programs & lessons, alongside experienced instructors. You’ll learn on the job, build confidence, and help create fun, memorable experiences for young guests. This role is perfect for building a future in Snowsports - combining your passion for the mountains with professional growth, mentorship, and an active, fun workplace. Requirement To be eligible, applicants must be 16–17 years old as at 1 June 2026, be available for 12 consecutive Sundays (June 18th to September 13th), live locally under parental supervision during their employment, reside within the Perisher resort, Jindabyne or Snowy Mountains area, and preferably be attending a local school. As a Junior Instructor, you will be employed with Limited Availability – Designed so you can balance other commitments. Applicants reside in their own private accommodation under parental supervision during employment and be available for at the 'Availability Requirements' below: Availability Requirements Perisher Minimum: Every Sunday from June 28th to September 13th will be required to sit the APSI level one exam and participate in the program.
