Description Status: NON-EXEMPT (hourly) Full-time Hours worked (typical): 40 Remote Work: Not allowed EEO Classification: Administrative Support Workers Job Tasks Typically: Structured - specific tasks will be assigned to the worker and monitored where the worker will be expected to follow prescribed plans. Description of Typical Work Schedule: 40 hour workweek; schedule to be discussed with direct supervisor and may change as needs of the department change (Hours set based on necessity of department or office.) PURPOSE: The Foster Care Permanency Support Specialist will serve as a support person for the Foster Care Case Manager and the Foster Care Supervisor. This position is supervised by the Administrative Manager. REPORTING STRUCTURE: Refer to the updated organizational chart for reporting structure and responsiblities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists Foster Care Case Manager with preparation of court hearings, ACR’s, CIPP’s and other meetings. Types and/or proofs reports as needed. Files court reports. E-Files or occasionally files appropriate/required documents. Provides transportation of children/parents to appointments, on an occasional (emergency basis) Enters CFS 502’s into SACWIS. Submits 1425L. Tracks/Assists with Legal Screens. Tracks/Assists with Adoption Subsidy Packets. Assembles new files and filing. Maintains checklists of what is needed, due, expired or missing. Completes initial clothing shopping for new cases. Completes referral forms and other documentation necessary for the effective, efficient, achievement of the permanency goal by established timeframes. Completes all Caritas paperwork and complies with program expectations as related to the position. Makes courtesy calls to remind parents of upcoming appointments.
