Job Title: Specialist Dietitian – Eating Disorders Banding: Equivalent to Band 6/7 (dependent on experience) Location: Chelmsford, Essex Start Date: ASAP Duration: Permanent Salary: £27,700 - £46,000 Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time Job Overview Pulse is currently seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary team at a private hospital in Essex. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a specialist mental health setting, supporting patients with complex psychological and nutritional needs, particularly those with eating disorders. The successful candidate will play a key role in the recovery journey of patients, delivering evidence-based nutritional care and collaborating with a team of psychiatrists, therapists, and medical professionals. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop tailored meal plans. Deliver one-on-one and group education sessions focused on healthy eating and relapse prevention. Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions using digital, telephone, and in-person methods. Provide specialist advice and contribute to service development and quality improvement. Qualifications and Experience Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Proven experience in clinical dietetics, preferably in eating disorder care. Strong background in nutritional assessment, counselling, and meal planning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
