We are looking for a new driver to join our team!
Our drivers use vehicles ranging from 3.5 ton vans to 18 ton rigid trucks and deliver to retail outlets, garden centres and pet shops throughout the UK. We do some routes in a day, others are two days and have a night out.
Lorries are pre-loaded by the warehouse team and deliveries are a mix of pallets, cages and handball. You may have to sack barrow a delivery to a high street shop, or use the tail lift to drop a pallet or more.
Our drivers work Tuesday to Friday, but they can be long days with early starts. We anticipate drivers will work 37 to 40 hours most weeks over the four days. A flexible approach for additional working, Monday’s, an advantage when required.
All routes are tacho achievable and we pay for lorry parks as well as an overnight allowance.
All our vehicles are properly maintained, serviced and are weighed on our own weighbridge after loading.
As a number of our routes are two days, this role will require a willingness, when required, to overnight for two nights a week (Tuesday and Thursday). Our lorries all have sleeper cabs and we pay an overnight allowance.
