Motor Control Circuit (MCC) Designer, Klerksdorp, North West, Job-4002
We are seeking a skilled Motor Control Circuit (MCC) Designer to join our team in Klerksdorp. The ideal candidate will have experience in CAD designing of low-tension MCC switch panels. This role requires expertise in CAD drafting and similar electrical qualifications necessary to perform the assigned tasks. While an Electrical Engineering degree is not mandatory, relevant experience and skills are crucial for success in this position.

Job description / core competencies:
Design and draft motor control circuit (MCC) switch panels using CAD software.
Develop detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical drawings for low-tension MCC systems.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.
Interpret technical requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
Conduct design reviews and provide recommendations for improvements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Work closely with manufacturing and assembly teams to support the production process.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues during the development and implementation phases.
Stay updated on advancements in MCC design technologies and best practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering or related field.
Previous experience working in the manufacturing or industrial automation sector.
Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and their integration with MCC panels.
Knowledge of motor control systems and their applications.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
Note: While an Electrical Engineering degree is not a mandatory requirement, candidates with relevant experience and qualifications will be given preference. We encourage individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply for this position.
Proven experience in CAD designing of low-tension MCC switch panels.
