Permanent Highway Maintenance Worker 1 (HMW1) - No CDL or Highway Technician 1 (HT1) - Class A or Class B CDL With Tanker Endorsement - Cuyahoga County - East Side (Warrensville & Euclid) - PNs: 20057197, 20056037, 20057262, 20057256, 20057243 The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet the minimum qualifications. What You Will Do: · You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer. · You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure if you are not already a licensed CDL holder. · You will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. · You will perform snow & ice operations. Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction Highway Technician 1: Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment.
