Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • College diploma in business or office administration (1-2 years)
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset
  • Proven knowledge and experience utilizing student communication software (School Messenger) functionality applicable to secondary school needs
  • Point person for parent and student enquiries related to school transportation and communication
  • Proficient in the use of student data management software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven ability and willingness to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Excellent record management skills
  • Ability to manage time, set priorities and function effectively in a quick paced multi-task environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and judgement skills
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Board policies, procedures and protocols
  • Excellent understanding of Catholic Education and the system commitment to student learning
