Job Details Job Location: Preble Street - PORTLAND, ME 04101 The Permanent Supportive Housing Services Program (PSHP) Housing Liaison will support the PSHP team in managing relationships with landlords working with the PSHP program. This position leads the efforts to outreach, recruit, collaborate, and educate landlords, property managers to work with PSHP. This position supports staff with landlord engagement training, provides mediation support, and actively collaborates with staff, supervisors and landlords to ensure that PSHP participants have access to affordable housing options and maintain that housing once it has been secured. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) position with a Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm schedule Qualifications A BSW, BA, or equivalent experience in a helping profession. Must be comfortable with communicating and selling the benefits of our program. Additional preferences include knowledge of issues related to homelessness and housing; a positive regard for consumers accessing services for homelessness and poverty; knowledge of community resources, solid communication and organizational skills; ability to work well independently and as part of a team. This position also requires local and statewide travel on a regular basis. Experience working in fields of real estate, property management, recruiting, marketing, communications, social services, or other related fields.
