Description Permit & Inspection Coordinator Location: Harwich Port, MA About the Role We are a growing residential home service provider seeking a Permit & Inspection Coordinator to support our operations team. This role is responsible for managing the full permitting lifecycle—from application preparation to final inspection scheduling—while also supporting day-to-day office operations. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, small-business environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review residential permit applications for accuracy and completeness Submit permits through city and county online portals Track permit status and proactively follow up with local jurisdictions Schedule and coordinate inspections with homeowners, clients, and inspectors Communicate professionally with building departments, inspectors, customers, and internal team members Maintain accurate records and internal tracking systems Additional Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls and provide professional customer support Manage customer relations and ensure a high level of service Assist with dispatching technicians and scheduling service calls Help manage and track preventative maintenance agreements Qualifications Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes consistently Comfortable working with online portals, PDFs, forms, and checklists Clear and professional communication skills (phone and email) Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Administrative, construction, or permitting experience is a plus—but not required Preferred (Not Required) Experience working with building departments or permitting software Familiarity with residential construction processes Experience with ServiceTitan Ability to work independently with minimal supervision What We Offer Small, efficient team with clear expectations Supportive and straightforward work environment Opportunity for growth as the company expands Hands-on training and development
