We are seeking an experienced Permit Manager to oversee and manage all permitting processes for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) and GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Network) projects in Germany. The Permit Manager will be responsible for securing the necessary permits and ensuring compliance with local regulations, laws, and standards, facilitating smooth project execution.

Responsibilities
  • Permit Acquisition:
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end permitting process for FTTH/GPON projects.
  • Identify all required permits and approvals for civil works, network installations, and infrastructure deployment.
  • Liaise with local authorities, municipalities, and regulatory bodies to obtain permits in a timely manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all project activities comply with German laws and regulations, including environmental, safety, and construction standards.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide guidance to the project team accordingly.
  • Documentation Management:
  • Prepare and submit accurate applications and required documentation for permits.
  • Maintain a detailed record of all permits, correspondence, and approvals.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Establish strong relationships with government officials, municipalities, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth permit approvals.
  • Act as the point of contact for all permit-related inquiries and issues.
  • Risk Mitigation:
  • Identify potential permitting risks and develop strategies to mitigate delays or rejections.
  • Ensure contingencies are in place for critical permitting milestones.
  • Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, civil engineers, and design teams to align permit requirements with project timelines and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates on permitting status and escalate any critical issues to leadership.
