Description

Community Living Options (CLO) is a leading NDIS registered disability service provider.
We are a values-focused organisation, who put the people we support first. Established in 1982 by a group of local parents who wanted respite and accommodation for their adult children, we have expanded exponentially because our participants love our services.
At Community Living Options we are dedicated to providing an inclusive environment where people are valued and supported. We welcome applicants with lived experience, all abilities, cultural background, gender, sexuality, age and spirituality.

A BIT ABOUT ME

Hi there! I’m a 28-year-old woman living in West Richmond, and I’m looking for a friendly, reliable support worker to join my amazing team. If you’re a student or someone who’s after short, flexible shifts that make a real difference—this could be the perfect fit!

I love swimming, going on community walks, watching movies, and I’m working on becoming more active and improving my physical fitness. I’d love your support with:

  • Getting to medical appointments
  • Helping with medication
  • Encouraging me to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle

ABOUT YOU

I’m looking for someone who’s:

  • Creative, positive, and patient
  • Keen to help me live a healthy, active life
  • Flexible and open to learning
  • Interested in psychology, social work, health, or community services (a bonus!)

Experience with behaviour support, trauma-informed care, or mental health (especially borderline personality disorder) is a plus—but not essential. If you’re compassionate and eager to learn, I’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Assisting with daily living activities
  • Supporting my life skill development
  • Helping me to achieve my personal goals and implement my support plan
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Being actively engaged and person-centred in your approach

This role is a great opportunity to:

  • Gain hands-on experience in disability support
  • Learn trauma-informed care and positive behaviour strategies
  • Work with a supportive team and receive full training (including buddy shifts)
  • Make a meaningful impact in someone’s lif
