Description We are seeking a Personal Accountant I at our Seattle, Washington wealth management family office firm. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure accurate financial management and exceptional client service. This position offers work from home availability of up to 2 days per week after initial orientation period. Position responsibilities: Reconcile bank accounts for clients enrolled in bill pay services. Maintain and organize digital financial records, including scanning and electronic filing. Prepare and make bank deposits in a timely and accurate manner. Perform QuickBooks-based accounting tasks, including bill pay functions. Generate basic financial reports to support client and internal needs. Communicate with clients to address routine inquiries and provide updates. Provide backup support to the Office Administrator and Client Services Team (CST). Other projects and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Essential skills and experience: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred). 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook). Experience with QuickBooks and Bill.com preferred. Familiarity with basic financial reporting and bank reconciliation processes. Experience handling sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with digital document management systems and basic office technology. Prior experience in a client-facing role or customer service setting. Knowledge of bill pay systems and procedures. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Willingness to support administrative functions and assist with cross-functional projects.
