EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in an accounting firm supporting Accountants / Directors in business services delivery.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in MYOB would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

Join our client’s dynamic commercial department and provide essential secretarial and administrative support to the Directors and their team of accountants.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Handle a high volume of incoming correspondence (hard copy and electronic)
  • Answer and screen telephone calls
  • Assist with banking preparations and receipt processing
  • Help prepare invoices
  • Record, post outgoing mail, sort and deliver daily incoming mail
  • Meet and greet clients
  • Prepare communications on behalf of Directors
  • Manage firm and personal correspondence for Directors
  • Collate Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns using DocuSign and MYOB Accountants Enterprise
  • Assist with lodging taxation returns
  • Provide word processing, spreadsheet, and data entry support
  • Maintain the practice management database
  • Perform filing, photocopying, and scanning tasks
  • Provide Maintain and set up new filing systems
  • Make tea and coffee for Directors and Clients
  • Manage diaries and organise meetings for Directors
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required
