Description:

Introduction:
Indulge your passion for problem-solving and embrace the thrill of addressing risk head-on at Gallagher’s global brokerage team. Join a family of diverse minds, united by a relentless pursuit of excellence. As part of our team, you’ll be the architect of protection, safeguarding businesses and empowering their ambitions. Together, we’ll build a legacy of trust and triumph in the dynamic world of risk management.
We believe that every candidate brings something special to the table, including you! So, even if you feel that you’re close but not an exact match, we encourage you to apply.
Overview:
Here at Gallagher, we are looking for someone to join us as a Personal Assistant to the Chief Operating Officer, GGB Retail (UK & Ireland), HR Director, GGB Retail (UK & Ireland) and Chief Financial Officer, GGB Retail (UK & Ireland).
This is an incredible opportunity for an exceptional individual who is passionate about working in a dynamic, fast paced business to be part of a successful global organisation and who will act as a seamless extension of the individuals supported and will happily work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization; in the UK and overseas.
The role will involve the typical duties of an PA but with many other opportunities to showcase your initiative, experience and skills through ad hoc project activity. An ambitious and entrepreneurial nature together with a determined hands on approach is vital to ensure you succeed in this challenging, varied and sometimes pressurised role.
This role will be offered on a full time and permanent basis and will be based in our London office but with flexibility around agile working.
How you’ll make an impact:
You will most likely have credible experience of operating as an PA but we are very open to a range of career backgrounds providing you can demonstrate relevant experience of supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment, have a professional and reliable approach and have a conscientious attitude towards your work.
You will definitely need to be able to work unsupervised and be highly proficient in using MS Office - especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. You’ll need to have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), be proactive and organised in your approach with the ability to stay calm under pressure as well as be confident in liaising with external stakeholders.
