OVERVIEW

I am seeking a reliable and proactive Personal Assistant / Household Manager to provide hands-on support in my home in Petaluma, California. This is not a “big ego” job—it’s about being an extra set of hands to help things run smoothly day-to-day. The role combines light household tasks with personal assistant duties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior experience as a personal assistant, household manager, or similar support role
  • Highly reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Comfortable working independently and anticipating needs without excessive direction
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect personal boundaries
  • Must be comfortable working in my home in Petaluma, California
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to pass a background check
  • Able to provide 2 professional references

$25–$30 PER HOUR, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

  • Part-time role, flexible hours to be agreed upon

SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities
  • Receive, sort, and drop off packages as needed
  • Wash dishes, put dishes away, and keep kitchen organized
  • Light meal prep (e.g., making smoothies during busy workdays)
  • Filing papers and organizing household items
  • Assist with light laundry tasks (start or switch loads, fold, put away)
  • Help maintain household order (tidying, small errands)
  • Keep track of and restock household supplies
  • Run occasional errands (grocery store, dry cleaning, post office, etc.)
  • Provide scheduling support (appointments, reminders, simple calendar help)
  • Coordinate with household service providers (e.g., cleaner, plumber, deliveries)
  • Assist with light pet support if needed (feeding, walking, supervising)
  • Tidy and prepare spaces if guests or meetings are expected
  • Support with light office/tech tasks (printing, scanning, simple online research)
  • Be responsive and handle tasks with minimal need for direction
