Description Independent Living Skills Program Job Summary We are seeking compassionate, reliable Personal Assistants (PAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide Independent Living Skills (ILS) services to adult clients supported by Regional Centers. Staff will work one-on-one with clients in their homes and community settings to promote independence, safety, and daily living skills. Service Areas Positions are available in: Arcata Eureka Willow Creek Crescent City Fortuna Rio Dell Surrounding areas Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent CNA certification (required for CNA positions only) Ability to pass a criminal background check Valid driver’s license Reliable vehicle with current insurance Ability to work independently and responsibly Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities preferred (training provided) Starting Pay Personal Assistant (PA): Starting at $18.00 per hour Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Starting at $21.00 per hour (or TBD based on experience) Schedule & Work Environment Part-time and full-time opportunities available Flexible schedules based on client needs Services provided in client homes and community settings Requirements Key Responsibilities Provide individualized support based on client service plans Teach and support independent living skills, including daily routines, household management, community access, and social skills Maintain professional boundaries and respectful communication Document services accurately and submit required reports Communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams Ensure client health, safety, and dignity at all times
