Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Support Worker to join our team. As a support worker, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring individuals in their workplace. Your role will involve providing instruction, supporting their needs, and motivating individuals to achieve their full potential.
This unique position is to work alongside our client for up to 23hrs per week and enable them to fulfil their job role.
Duties:
- Provide communication support to an individual with a hearing impairment
- Provide admin support during meetings
- Support to improve skills and performance
- Evaluate and provide constructive feedback
- Motivate and inspire individuals to set and achieve their goals
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and supportive environment
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information and provide feedback
- Leadership abilities to motivate
- Patience and empathy to work with individuals of different abilities or ages
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges or obstacles during their time at work
