Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE:

To provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Registered Manager, enabling them to focus on the strategic leadership and operational management of the fostering service. The PA will act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensure efficient office systems, and maintain accurate records in line with fostering regulations and agency policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Provide comprehensive PA support to the Registered Manager, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and prioritising tasks.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation on behalf of the Registered Manager.
  • Take minutes of meetings (including management, panel, and strategy meetings) and ensure timely distribution of actions.
  • Manage and maintain confidential records in line with GDPR and safeguarding requirements.

6. GENERAL OFFICE DUTIES

  • Support the wider admin team in maintaining efficient office systems and procedures.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment where needed.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the fostering agency by providing flexible support when required.
