Are you a discreet, highly organised professional with the skills and confidence to support a CEO at executive level?
We are seeking a proactive and highly capable Personal Assistant to provide exceptional, high-level support to our CEO, Chris Acton. This is a critical role, designed to ensure the CEO can focus on strategic priorities by enabling smooth day-to-day operations, acting as a trusted gatekeeper, and providing seamless coordination across internal and external demands.
The successful candidate will operate with initiative, discretion, and clarity, ensuring key priorities aren’t missed. The successful candidate will keep the CEO fully informed and confidently act on his behalf within appropriate boundaries. This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide proactive executive support to the CEO, ensuring his time is protected and focused on key strategic matters.
  • Act as the first point of contact, filtering communications, anticipating needs, and responding to emails on his behalf where appropriate.
  • Manage complex and ever-changing diaries, meetings, and travel arrangements with efficiency and forward planning.
  • Coordinate and support Marketing with preparation for key internal and external events, including board meetings, business planning sessions, all-staff meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Ensure the CEO is fully briefed and well-prepared ahead of meetings and events, with the right information at the right time.
  • Maintain awareness of the wider business environment and ensure relevant matters are addressed without requiring direct CEO input.
  • Regularly engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, acting as a key representative of the CEO and the business.
  • Make informed decisions on the CEO’s behalf, exercising sound judgement and discretion.
  • Demonstrate a high level of autonomy and proactivity, often anticipating needs and taking initiative without instruction.
  • Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with absolute discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide a calm, composed presence and trusted sounding board, offering support, perspective, and challenge where appropriate.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between all Clancy offices and departments, as well as external contacts.
  • Be present and available in the office when the CEO is onsite.
