EMPLOYMENT INFORMATION * Location: Burbank, Glendale & Surrounding areas * Full & Part-Time: $20 / hour * $500 sign on bonus! * Mileage reimbursement * $10/month cell phone stipend * Evening / Overnight Shifts BENEFITS * Health care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employment * Discounts on Pet Insurance * Cal-Savers retirement plan * $500 bonus installed in two increments ($250 in first paycheck, $250 30 days after your first shift!) YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES * Support participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household duties * Following care plans and helping participants achieve their personal goals * Encourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activities * Assist participants access and participate in community activities * Assist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required) * Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and management * Document shift and communication logs WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset * Someone who has a warm, respectful, and professional demeanor * Someone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging moments * A valid driver’s license * Responsible, and can document goal progress tracking with detail * DSP 1 & 2 certification (preferred, applicants who are not yet certified can take advantage of our internal certification programs) * CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need to be recertified) * Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required) WHO WE ARE People Creating Success (PCS) is a Californian leader in providing services for adults with developmental disabilities for over 20 years.
