Description Public Service Credit Union is seeking a Relationship Specialist (Personal Banker) for our Romulus branch. The Relationship Specialist is responsible for successfully building and maintaining long-term relationships with members and able to handle inquiries regarding accounts, effectively and efficiently, to ensure maximum member satisfaction. The Relationship Specialist must display a high level of knowledge of PSCU products, expand PSCU wallet share, and have a positive attitude. Through a needs based/consultative sales approach, the Relationship Specialist will determine and recommend products that best fit the member’s needs, resulting in cross-selling effectiveness. Job Responsibilities Advise members on banking services for their needs. Process and open consumer and commercial accounts, loan applications, and credit card applications. Handle Electronic Loan payments and payroll/funds distributions. Debit card orders, online banking, and e-statement registration. Collaborate with branch to ensure leads are provided and focus on goals to maximize branch growth. Actively build and maintain relationships with members through communication. Accurate and timely completion of new accounts, loan packets, and any other member-related documents.
