Multiply X is a Los Angeles–based personal branding firm working with nationally recognized leaders in architecture, law, and business. Our clients trust us to deliver sharp, high-caliber content that elevates their brand and drives results.
We’re looking for a short-form Video Editor - someone who lives and breathes storytelling, can spot the exact moment that makes a clip memorable, and understands how to edit for both impact and brand alignment.
This is not a drag-and-drop CapCut job. We need an editor fluent in professional software, with experience delivering for high-level brands or personalities, and who knows how to craft content that stops people mid-scroll.
You’ll work directly with Ian Nelson, the CEO, as well as the core creative team to produce a high volume of polished, on-brand content that consistently meets the respective client’s business goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven professional experience in short-form editing, with a portfolio showing personal brand-focused work.
  • Mastery of Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent industry-standard tools.
  • Strong familiarity with motion graphics, typography, and 3D animation (preferred).
  • Obsessed with details, deadlines, and delivering exceptional work.
  • Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.
  • Bonus: cinematography or camera operator experience.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Edit raw footage into sleek, high-impact short-form content that meets specs, deadlines, and brand standards.
  • Deliver tasteful color grading, clean audio, and frame-accurate captions every time.
  • Use professional editing software (Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere Pro) - no mobile apps.
  • Incorporate motion graphics, typography, and 3D animation where it can enhance storytelling.
  • Manage deliverables via Lucid Link and Slack with precision and reliability.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve editing techniques and processes, while maintaining timeless production quality.
