As a Personal Care Aide (PCA) and Caregiver on our team, you will provide one-on-one assistance to seniors in the comfort of their own homes to ensure they are living the most positive and purposeful lives possible. Interviews are conducted in our Citrus Heights office on Sunrise Vista Dr. Benefits of being a Comfort Keepers Caregiver: Competitive Pay ($16.50-$21/hr) – Including regular salary reviews, direct deposit, gas allowance, holiday pay, paid training and paid time off (PTO) after 6 months Flexible Scheduling – Flexible start dates with regularly available hours and the ability to work near your home is a great benefit of being a caregiver Continued Training – Advance yourself as we foster your growth and development through web-based and in-person training as a caregiver Friendly Environment – 24-hour support available within a trusting, team-oriented atmosphere that has been in business for nearly 20 years and is 2nd generation family owned Companionship & Friendship – Create lasting relationships with seniors and their loved ones Responsibilities of being a CK Caregiver: Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families Help seniors get into and out of bed as needed Help seniors use the restroom when needed Perform duties as assigned on a personalized senior care service plan Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home Requirements for becoming a CK Caregiver: Submit to criminal background investigation (20+ years), motor vehicle driving record check and pre-employment drug screening Possess a valid current driver's license, automobile insurance and a reliable vehicle Possess PCA, HHA or CNA license or have 6 months of experience as a caregiver (preferred but not required) Possess high school diploma or GED Be able to service the Folsom, CA area #LI-DNI

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes and establish open communication with seniors and their families. Help seniors with daily activities and maintain a comforting environment in the home.
