Personal Care Aides act as a bridge to independent living for many seniors as well as those with disabilities who may also require assistance with activities of daily living. From monitoring a client’s vital signs and physical or mental condition, to assisting with grooming, hygiene, and chores around the house, Personal Care Aides allow clients to maintain the familiarity — and dignity — of living at home. Benefits * Wellness program * Continuing education * Referral incentive program * Travel time reimbursement * Holiday Overtime Responsibilities * Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and other daily tasks * Perform basic health care services for clients including checking vital signs or administering prescription medication * Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals * Make transportation arrangements or provide transportation for clients as needed * Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members * Observe and report on each client’s condition * Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures Qualifications * Access to reliable transportation to and from work. * Your vehicle must be insured. * You must have a valid driver’s license. * You will need a current TB * You must pass a Background & Drug check & be E-Verify employable.
