We have eight aged care villages across NSW and SA, including five within the Sydney Metro area and the sixth located in regional NSW (Griffith) and two in the Western suburbs of Adelaide, SA.

We are seeking a number of experienced Personal Care Workers who hold a Certificate III in Aged Care to join The House of Saint Hilarion by Scalabrini Communities in Seaton on a permanent, part-time basis.

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to select shifts across morning, afternoon and night rosters, with availability to work at least three weekdays preferred.

The role entails providing care to residents as a member of the care team under the supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide person centred care which includes:

• Empowering our residents to ensure their choices and preferences are met, including serving food and feeding residents when required
• Assisting residents with their daily care needs
• Assisting residents to participate in activities

You will bring:

• A caring and patient outlook and enjoy making a positive impact to our residents everyday lives. 
• A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in an aged care or community health setting and an understanding of issues relating to dementia care
• Previous working knowledge of the aged care industry and person-centred care
• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships
• Confidence working in a flexible team environment
• Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Ability to speak other languages (desirable but not essential)
