WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to individuals within a Residential Aged Care setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support consumers with daily living tasks such as personal care, grooming etc.

• Provide emotional support and companionship to consumers, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
• Promote independence and encourage consumers to achieve their goals and aspirations.
• Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the consumers care, including family members and external healthcare professionals.

You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support; or completion of first year nursing degree (including completion of aged care placement)
• Previous experience working in an aged care facility.
• Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current Police Check or willing to obtain.
