JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Experience required but not essential and candidates are able to possess strong communication skills. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality care while maintaining the dignity and respect of those we serve.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.
• Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs.
• A valid driving licence is must and own car.

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing as per their care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Help with meal preparation and nutritional guidance, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Administer medication as directed and monitor health conditions, reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
